Vroom! Vroom! Shelby Materials is bringing our ready mix trucks to Touch-A-Truck events all across central Indiana in 2025. If your little one lights up when they see a big truck rolling down the road, this is their chance to get up close, sit in the driver’s seat and even honk our signature horn.
We love being part of these events where kids can explore our trucks, meet our friendly drivers and learn about the important work Shelby Materials does in our communities. These hands-on experiences are a fantastic way for children to spark their curiosity, engage in tactile learning and maybe even picture themselves behind the wheel one day.
Touch-A-Truck events aren’t just fun for kids – parents love them too! It’s a great family outing, offering a chance to learn, play and take some fun photos. Our team is always happy to answer questions and share what it’s like to be part of the Shelby Materials family.

- April 26 from 10 A.M. – 12 P.M. at Shelby County YMCA’s Healthy Kids Day
- June 18 from 4:30 – 7:30 P.M. at Grand Park Sports Campus (Sensory Friendly Hour 4:30 – 5:30 P.M.)
- September 20 from 10 A.M. – 2 P.M. at Johnson County Park Shelter Area (Sensory Friendly Hour 10 – 11 A.M.)
