Flowable Fill

Flowable fill mixtures are usually comprised of combinations of cement, water, fine aggregate and fly ash or slag. It was initially developed as a solution to recurring problems originating from poorly compacted soil. Extensive research with flowable fill mixtures has led to its use in numerous applications: bedding and backfill to utility trenches, paving sub-base, bridge abutment and retaining wall backfill.

Flowable fill may be used to fill abandoned tanks, basements, tunnels, sewers, and other underground structures.
