Decorative Flooring

Polished Industrial Floor

One of the most common places you´ll see decorative concrete is under your feet. Whether it is acid-stained, painted, overlaid, or a unique personal floor, concrete floors offer a range unlike any other material. Coloring concrete or applying textures, patterns, saw cuts, etc., can bring new life to this traditional material. Concrete can be uniquely designed or so naturally colored that it blends seamlessly with other elements in the room–oftentimes, you don´t even realize it´s a concrete floor you´re standing on!

Wal-Mart has recently begun the use of integrally-colored concrete floors in their stores. With the colored concrete flooring, Wal-Mart does not have to lay tile floors and avoids the use of VOC glues and adhesives for the tile pieces. Unlike the tiles, the concrete never wears so the additional costs of replacing tiles and the additional use of environmentally unfriendly VOC adhesives are avoided.
