Sustainability has become one of the modern buzz words. Sustainability in concrete addresses the cost of the building on the environment over the lifetime of the building. Concrete is a very friendly product to increase sustainability. Even though the construction industry in general has high co2 emissions, the structures built with concrete last significantly longer. Further, concrete can be crushed and reused as stone with the building is replaced.
