L.E.E.D

The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System provides standards for environmentally sustainable construction. LEED certified buildings are healthier work and living environments which contribute to higher productivity and improved employee health and comfort.
Concrete can be an important component in meeting LEED requirements. Concrete enhances energy performance, contains recycled materials, and is manufactured locally. When a LEED building is complete, it is certified to one of 4 levels (Certified, Silver, Gold, and Platinum). The owner has the assurance that their new building is as energy efficient as expected.
