Having spent his childhood years involved in the business, Philip joined full time in 1974 after graduating from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Management. An avid golfer and sports fan, Phil lives in Shelbyville with his wife Nancy. Sons Matt and Aaron are also involved in the business.

Growing up surrounded by facets of the business, Richard began at Shelby Materials in 1980 after graduating from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction Management. Richard lives in Zionsville Indiana with wife Millie, son Parker, and daughters Lydia and Courtney.
